Today it was actually meant that we shouldn’t surf at all, but some of the others guys were focused on surfing, down at our local beach “Foz do Lizandro”. So I thought why not just try it a little? Technically it felt awful, although I did one cool surf directly up on the beach. But it felt fun and more relaxed now when we didn’t have any teachers screaming or pushing us. We also tried to capture some of the surfing on video. Then we ate a “Tosta Mista” with mango juice before we started our little trek up on the steep cliffs, it was a very beautiful scenery and then we also saw some local fishermen. We continued our trek until we reached the next beach called “Sao Juliao” by then we were very hot. So we decided to take a real dip, in the ocean this time without a wetsuit it was very refreshing. I also felt very playful when I dove in the waves and at the same time trying to film some of it.
We bought some ice cream at the viewpoint café before we started to walk home. The day ended with very simple food just some bread and the movie “The next three days” because none of us felt like walking any more this day.
