We planned to leave at 10:00 but since we woke up early we left already at 08:00 because we had a long drive ahead of us. First to Kristiansand and then to Sandefjord the road was quite good but there were a lot of road tolls. We were not really sure how they worked maybe we will get a hefty bill by mail afterwards? Luckily the drive didn't take that long so we had some "free" time in Sandefjord. We tried to buy "Softis" but unfortunately they didn't accept our VISA cards there?
We had a nice relaxing ferry ride over to Strömstad trying to sleep in a cafeteria sofa.
Then it was time for our last leg with only a quick stop at the restaurant (the golden arc)/;)
Thank god for the Swedish road system, finally we could put some power to the pedal.
Do I even have to say that I was totally exhausted when I arrived home?
Afterword It was too little time and to many km driving by car, and you need to calculate for a lot more time when you are travelling the Norwegian road system it is far from straight a lot of speed cameras and often just one lane for driving. The you have all these fucking road tolls, isn't Norway already enough expensive? Here is the place if you want to avoid fines and surprises when get home:
Sunglasses was very important on this trip, due to the clear sky and the reflections from the lakes.
The only thing I really noticed was that the Norwegian people seemed to be a lot more relaxed and content then most Swedish people. I can't help thinking how nice it would be, living in a country and every country you choose to visit outside of you own is cheaper, that would be ideal/:)
