Home coming

Sunday 30 August 2009 Helsingborg, Skåne County, Sweden

I woke up to another breakfast buffet and soon we were on the road again…

I don’t know why, but it seemed that a lot of people didn’t want to speak English with us, maybe their language skills where poor or they were shy to speak English? Since we had a hard time to remember the real name of the mountain lake “Morskie Oko” in Poland we created our own word for it “Moski Oski” which then turned out to be our own internal joke. We started to use the word for almost everything crazy or funny.
I felt that Germany were more of an transit country then something exotic and inspiring it is very similar to Sweden and I hope that not all the countries in Europe will look the same in the near future. If we had more time it would have been very interesting to explore more countries further south.
I didn’t like that we didn’t climb “Gerlachovsky stit” but I felt that it was too little time and that it was too close to the climb of Rysy, so maybe I will be back for that adventure?

When we split all the cost on four people the price tag stayed at 7450 SEK for each person. Then we had driven a total of 4200 km. I guess the car rental and the hotels in Germany were the most expensive parts including the very unnecessary fine in Austria.

This was another adventure.
