I started the day with a surfer breakfast at “Surf and snack bar” with some beautiful eye candy watching the ocean. It was no wave surfing conditions to day either it was a downer, but I tried to see the bright side of it so we planned to book a windsurfing lesson for tomorrow, exciting…
So we went to “Surfzone” and spoke to the owner (at least I think he was), he was a ruthless joker and asked me “Who the hell gave you a name that is impossible to pronounce?” in a heartfelt way.
Spent the afternoon with Pamela Andersons book “Star” before it was time for some “bodysurf” in the ocean. Afterwards someone proposed the idea of quad bikes, why not? Now I really understand the expression “Eat my Dust”/:) It was very funny, we could drive everywhere on the road, off the road, on the beach, on the hilltops, and the traffic is very minor on the road with a “No stress” attitude. We went to “Ponta Preta” but there was no competition yet so we continued to the Kite beach on the east side of the island and up in the hills. Finally home we had to rinse of the dust both from the outside to the inside with a quick dip in the pool (five meters from my door) and then we played some pool enjoying a bottle of Tonic water to swallow down the last dust.
